DANSE MACABRE,
one day the “why” arises and everything
begins with that lassitude tinged with amazement.

(Information)

Danse Macabre is a reinterpretation of the literary genre Danse Macabre. The subject was approached by changing the point of view, instead of death being the one that comes to each individual, it is the individual who goes to it. In other words, they are committing suicide.

The text was extracted from The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus and the images from the documentary The Swedish Theory of Love. The idea behind this is to show the time-lapse, which is different for each person.

To accomplish that concept we used the photolithography technique in CMYK, where the colors are reduced in every page symbolizing the diminishing of a person's lifetime.
